Kimco Limited Warranty Policy



All New Kimco Systems are warranted for a period of one year from date of shipment. Any new hardware item found to be defective will be replaced with the same or better value equipment for a period of 90 days from shipment. This is in addition to the normal manufactures warranty for individual items as may apply. Upgrades are warranted for 30 days from date of delivery. Upgrades are defined as modificatons to hardware where new hardware is installed. Warranty work does not include labor. Labor must be paid at the time of pickup or before delivery. The following items are excluded from the warranty as above; Mouse/mice, Keyboard and all software. These excluded items are covered only by the specific manufactures warranty for each item. We certify that software included with the system and specifically installed the first time by Kimco Computer, such as the operating system and such items as MS Office 97, or Corel, are in working order at time of shipment. Subisiquent windows errors, driver errors, flags, and system crashes that need repaired will be charged the current labor rate for repairs. All items to be returned require a RMA available by telephone during normal business hours as posted on the home web site unless under the "I-Escrow" agreement in which case all policies as implemented by "I-Escrow" apply. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless under the "I-Escrow" agreement in which case all "I-Escrow" policies supersede any above policies. Responsibility for equipment remains with the shipper until verification of receipt from UPS or FEDEX is signed. All return items should be insured for actual value. No returns or refunds on special orders. Dead on Arrival special orders require a RMA number subject to approval and our inspection before exchange. With RMA arrangements there may be a 20% restocking fee. We are not responsible for data loss of any form for any reason during repairs of equipment, software, or operating systems. Back up your data to prevent data loss prior to service or shipping. Support is available by telephone at the current Kimco Labor rate of $50 per hour. This is the only warranty available. NO other warranty implied by anyone, employee or other is valid. This policy is subject to change at any time at the discretion of Kimco Computers. We do not sell copies of software or install illegal copies of software. Please be sure that your software is licensed as required by law. We are an authorized Microsoft OEM system manufacture and all of our new systems are shipped with a licensed, legal, operating system. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason.
